That was good. It's amazing how the Smart EQ was able to completely eliminate all that mud across the entire mix. It certainly wasn't done at that point but it does save an enormous amount of time for the mixer.

Just a quick PSA ::So I went back to the Sonible web site and it said the price was $129. But I thought just a few days ago it was $89. ???

In any case I ended up getting it for $85. But I had to join Audio Plugin Deals to get it with a $20 credit for joining , then then by entering this code. LOYAL24-DK8BRJXB

The price went up for me too, from $29 to $39. I'm in no hurry and the June sales will be here in no time.

The ability to use the sonibe Smart EQ4 among and between several different tracks and instruments is truly a stunning feature. Leaving that feature aside, the plugin provides so much more.

Having used it since version 3 for basic solo fingerstyle recording (a single stereo track), I have found that its other features make it an rather amazing EQ, including (i) the initial AI read and suggestive EQ adjustment/curve), (ii) the "adaptive" control (which yields a variable rheostat between static and fully dynamic EQ), (iii) the ability to double click to add a new EQ point (no limit) with all the typical adjustments to counterbalance or adjust any AI suggestion, (iv) the combination of the "impact", "width" and "soothing" features to focus things, (v) the smart M/S controls and (vi) the phase and gain compensation controls.

It's also a very clean and honest EQ. If you want an emulation of some box from the past look elsewhere.
