She still looked magnificent at the presentation following the women's final. Speaking of which, as an aussie, so proud of Ash Barty's victory. A confident yet humble champion. Kudos also to Dylan Alcott winning the men's wheelchair title.

I never got to play on a clay court, but did get the opportunity to play on grass a couple of times. Usually those were beyond my lower middle class access, but there were a couple of tournaments....

It appears to be a whole different game on clay, and I can see why some players would shine there - and others not so much, depending on their playing style and strengths.

It really is. Grass is a much faster surface & favors the Big Serve players, clay slows the ball down & favors players who can move the ball around and maneuver the other player out of position. So I was never a huge fan of Wimbledon except as a showcase for personalities (Ilie Nastase, Evonne Goolagong).

By the way, have the US commentators figured out that it's Wimbledon not Wimbleton yet?

SUP is a sport. You are riding a larger wider surfboard propelled by a long paddle while standing. Feet are balanced over the center of the board and you face forward while you paddle most of the time. You can surf on one and its much easier and faster to catch a wave so we tend not to snake our friends on short boards. Some old names in surfing are involved, Laird Hamelton and Gery Lopez are active promoting the sport.
