I really appreciate your suggestions and i’m sure that a guitar made by a luthier sound great but i know martin sound and i really love it.
anyway it’s very difficult order from europe, do you know usa dealers that ship to italy?
Maybe santa cruz customs could be an other option.

Schoenberg Guitars is a Martin dealer and they will ship anywhere in the world. Contact Eric or James and let them know what you’re looking for.

In my view, Santa Cruz guitars don’t have the Martin sound, similar neighborhood, but a different apparent target. I believe they’d make you go through a dealer, but that may have changed.

i found an om42 custom from a usa shop. are there issues to place an order from usa here in europe? it's a guitar with madagascar and adi woods. it costs over 9 k (not included taxes and duies i should pay here in italy).
i've some doubts, i'm trying to forget it. :-)

also it's not deep body and no slotthead

I just got a Per Marklund OM-18 in April of this year. You should reach out to him, he is very easy to get ahold of and will put you on his list for whatever batch he is filling. This OM stands head to head with any of the great small American luthiers, and you would have zero CITES issues with the BRW in EU.

If not Per, Bagnasco and Casati are in Italy and make very fine instruments, as well as Blazer and Henkes, but that may be a bit of a wait.
