Default New Recording King RD-G9M all solid body dred on it's way

Hi all, I have been a firm supporter of Recording King for a few years now, they are within my budget and my keeper is an RAJ 26.

I always wanted an RD-10 but missed that boat in terms of buying new and every one I saw second hand was priced way too high for a secondhand guitar.

The other day I purchased an RD-G9M another all solid wood guitar from RK. I can't find much information online apart from a sellers blurb on Reverb stating that it was a limited run. Does anybody own this guitar or have experience of it?

welcome, and congrats on the incoming
I had an ROS G9M 000 12 fret for a while

specs said it was an englemann spruce top

all solid woods, and played and sounded wonderful

it was a great guitar, hoping yours is just as nice!

I was at Elderly’s last week and was very impressed with the Recording King models they had. Workmanship was excellent and the sound was pleasing to my ears. I have the 12 fret solid wood parlor model and enjoy it. I would’nt mind having the 000 model. Enjoy your new guitar!

Thanks for the feedback. I have not had one bad experience with RK so far. Just hoping someone else has one of these. I'll post an NGD when it arrives.

I'm a big Recording King fan...I have a RP 06 12 fret slot head that's a darn good little guitar. And I had an RD26 that was stolen. It was a nice Guitar also. I have never had a problem with them.

Well I recieved delivery of the guitar today. A little more research showed me that it's a short run model. The solid African mahogany looks very similar to what's on my RAJ 26, however it is a nice satin finish as opposed to the RAJ rubbed nitrocellulose.

No complaints whatsoever. Recording King did not dissapoint... Again! Honestly can't fault it. I'll take some nice pics and do an NGD post.

Congrats, enjoy it for years. I've got an RD-310 which has been a great guitar with no issues.

By solid-body you mean "no plywood," right? Not "like a 50-lb Les Paul?"

I have an older, all solid RK ROS-10 12 fret.

It is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar. Hope yours is too.
