We buy this stuff by the brick whenever Costco/BJ's has a sale, slice it into patties rather than slabs, broil/fry it, and serve it like an Ohio bologna sandwich on a burger roll (usually Martin's potato or King's Hawaiian) with condiment(s) of choice (I'm a ketchup guy - been eating fried bologna that way all my life - while my wife likes mustard)...

For health reasons, I can't do SPAM any longer. I wish I could.

The little canned cube of mystery meat brings back fond memories of my dad being able to create some fun meals. He had a way with it. Breakfast, lunch, diner- he had a way to prepare it and make it taste better than it is.

Being a kid in the 50's, I ate my fair share of Spam and I can't say that it wasn't tasty about any way it was fixed...

But I haven't had it in many a year now...

The stuff is a dart to the heart...

No mystery...pork and pork shoulder. It’s right there on the can.

My wife would kill me faster that Spam if I brought it into the house.

20 years ago I could get away with it. Love it fried, cubed in an omelette, grilled...aside from the atrocious amount of salt in it it really is not a bad product...IMHO.

Always have several cans in the pantry.
I even like it uncooked for sandwiches.

My airgun friends and I like to take cans of Spam to the target range with us and use it to test penetration efficiency of the various pellets we shoot. After we’re done shooting, we play “rock, scissors, paper” (we’re not very mature people as you can tell), to see who gets the nasty job of removing the pellets from the Spam so we can leave the shot us Spam for the coyotes who will come by later and scarf it up. We ain’t too smart, but we have fun, and the coyotes love us...I think.
