This the guitar I ordered.

https://emeraldguitars.com/product/x7-green-6782/

Per my chat with Davy, Emerald is on Holiday until 8/16, so nothing will happen until they return. I anticipate, say am hopeful, shipping will be Friday 8/20.

Looking forward to a NGD before months end.

The guitar pictured is noted as out of stock--is that because you snagged it?

That is correct sir.
I waited to post this since it was the last X7 in stock and I wanted to be sure it was marked “out of stock” and earmarked for me.

Now the wait begins.

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace, or something like that. Is there a Shakespeare in the house?

Enjoy the anticipation, have a drink, relax. To my knowledge no one has expired while waiting for their Emerald.

The one thing I have been learning since retirement is patience. This is just another exercise in that. The Jameson will will be enjoyed when the big brown truck arrives.

Another of life’s great ironies. The young, who generally have all the time in the world, are the least patient among us. We older folks in sight of the finish line, have developed all of the patience in the world…

Enjoy the X7 when it arrives - I had one for a couple years. It was ultimately smaller than I liked, but it was a fantastic guitar.

Speak for yourself, Ray - I want it, and I want it NOW! Life is like a roll of toilet paper: the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes. Yeah, I'm kidding... it'll get here when it gets here. No sweat, as long as you have other good guitars to play.

I am blessed to own a custom Huss and Dalton 000 12 fret and a Taylor 322e 12 fret to occupy my time while I patiently wait for my X7 😁

I posted some neck measurements. One of my lists has a 2019 X7 you might be interested in.

It would be awesome if somebody could measure and post the Emerald X20 standard range neck. I've never gotten my hands on one.

My X7 was delivered about an hour ago!

Initial thoughts...
I only have about 45 minutes with it, but, HOLY COW! It is much more than I had expected in comfort and tone. I was expecting it to sound rather thin and chimey like a few other CF's I had played. The X7 is full and rich in tone for such a small guitar.

Any way, I have to thank everyone once again for their insight and helpful comments. I will post a full NGD thread in a few days after we get acquainted.

OH yeah...without further ado, here are a few obligatory photos
