Default Incoming Cedar/Sapele NGD

As per a previous thread I’ve been having uncontrollable GAS for a Cedar over Mahogany (or similar) guitar. I had some great suggestions so thank you!

The search was momentarily derailed due to a purchase last week of a Eastman E1OOSS-LTD - which I have to say tipped the scales for this purchase. I absolutely love this guitar. It’s loud, punchy and everything just feels right. It’s incredible value for money.

With this in mind I decided to stick with the Eastman brand and ordered a Eastman E2OM-CD from the same dealer. Peach guitars in the UK are fantastic to deal with and this will be my third guitar from them. They take really great photographs of each individual guitar in stock so you can select which you want.

I was genuinely torn between the E2D and the E2OM. But the feel of the slightly shorter scale on my new Eastman swung it the way of the OM plus I already have 3 dreads (2 square shoulder 1 sloped) so I really think I’m covered in the dread area.

This cedar Topped Eastman should Be with me sometime this week. I’ve attached the link to the guitar with pictures as Peach takes better photographs than I ever could:

Thanks Jim, your feedback on the Eastman on my earlier thread was really useful and appreciated.
