2014 Collings OM2H Short Scale - Baggs Lyric - SOLD
[/B][/B]This beautiful example of a Collings OM2H was custom made as a short scale instrument (24 7/8") with a 1 3/4" bone nut and drop in bone saddle. It features a Select Sitka Spruce top with really nice variation in the color and a very tight-grained EIR back and sides. It is dressed up with an ebony peghead overlay and abalone fingerboard inlays. It has an L.R. Baggs Acoustic Microphone installed and it comes with a set of brass bridge pins with onyx caps but the original ebony pins are in the bridge now. It was just restrung with Santa Cruz Low Tension Strings and it sounds fantastic with those strings. It has only one nick that I can find, which is on the top rear edge of the headstock (pictured). Other than that, it shows no real signs of being played, which is why it is listed as "mint." It is in the original mint Collings TKL case. This guitar lives up to the standard set by Collings for their flagship OM2H model. The guitar will be shipped insured for the full purchase price. Priced for AGF members at $xxxx shipped.

Thanks for getting in touch. Not looking for trades right now as I'm making room for a couple of custom builds - one returning after a trip back to Steve Sheriff for an attitude adjustment and one from Ben Wilborn later this year. But I am close to DC - in Fairfax County - so if anything else interesting comes up, it shouldn't be difficult to get together. Jim |
