Here are couple more shots of progress on this one. Continuing with the fretboard, here are a couple of (nice) ebony blanks getting ready to be processed
Also the neck is starting to take shape Although in the shot above the heel cap is shown, here is a quick shot of that getting installed |

Here are a couple more shots of the fretboard work on this one,
One of the design elements is shown here where I borrow the curve from the SSP headstock for the fretboard end. Here the Mother of Pearl Side marker dots are being installed. The binding is the (same) lightly figured snakewood we choose for the binding on the body |

This one has been progressing nicely although I have not been keeping up with the pictures as well as I should. However, I do have a few more shots from the shop showing the bridge coming together. I ended up roughing out a couple of bridges while I was at it

Yes this one was finished up a while back. Paul and I talked about this some and we decided to wait until after Woodstock to figure out if this one or others might go to Dream. I will have this one with me at Woodstock. I have not taken any shots of the completed guitar but I will try to get some pix in the next few days. Thanks for asking about this one. John O |
