No longer for sale Leo Posch D18 style Mahogany $xxxx shipped
If you haven't played a Posch you're missing out. Leo is a luthier in Kansas who builds his guitars to Martin D18 1930's specs. In this guitar #75, he has done an amazing job. It has a beautiful sunburst Adirondack top, Mahogany back and sides, Hide glue construction, 1 3/4" bone nut, 2 5/16" string spacing, bone saddle, 5" deep at the tail block, Waverly tuners and a C shaped neck. It's a little bigger guitar with the 5" depth creating a full, deep woody Mahogany sound that booms and yet very responsive to a subtle touch. I bought this new from Leo about 4 years ago and it has a sound that you can’t help but love(Leo has a few recordings of it on his website), so if you've been looking for a monster mahogany D18 style dread, you have found your match. It has been played, has opened up beautifully but with playing comes some subtle marks shown in pictures. No cracks, no structure flaws, no work done, easy to play. Hate to sell this but unfortunately have to let go. Asking $xxx shipped . Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking, Jim Last edited by Jimd826; 07-08-2018 at 03:00 PM. Jim, post this on Collings and umgf, this will be gone like quick. There's guy's sitting by their computer waiting for a posch like this to pop up. Beautiful guitar to say the least.

What a great looking Guitar! I have a Leo Posch D-18 with a natural top and it's the best sounding, Hog Guitar I've played. Just a monster Guitar. I really like Leo's bursts, to the point where I would consider selling mine to have one :-)

I had a Posch D18 12 fret. Prettiest sunburst I've even seen on any guitar and phenomenal sounding instrument. Every time I think about it, I regret selling it. I just bought a Bob Thompson from Jim. Deal with confidence!

Leo’s Guitars are absolutely killer. Still have my D-18, #18. I stand by my comments made in a 2016 post to this thread.
