Default Excellent alternative to D Jr and GS Mini

My wife bought me an Alvarez LJ2 for Christmas.

It's pretty much a knockoff of the GS Mini but with a wider and fuller neck. To my ears, it is every bit as good as a GS Mini too and D Jr as well and at less than 1/2 the price. Comes with a very high quality gigbag - better than the D Jr's and just a tad less protective than the bag for the GS.

For those of you that want a GS or D Jr but have thin wallets, I would look hard at these first. Excellent tone and volume too, without any boxiness present.

Congrats on the Alvarez. That's one of the complaints that many people have about the GS Mini, the nut width.

I'll keep my eye open for the LJ2 in the stores so I can give it a try.
