For sale is a Mcpherson 3.5 stripped mccaster ebony/ carpathian red spruce acoustic guitar. Guitar is in great shape - it's basically a new guitar. Played once or twice. Stored in a dry, cool room in the case. Ordered in Spring 2011. Asking $5,500 shipped. Comes with hard case in great condition as well.

Just curious, is the entire back Macassar, or just the wedge? If so, what is the outside?

The entire back and sides are STRIPED Macassar Ebony.
The "striped" gives it the two-tone look…… but it's all the same wood.
