Rainsong Neck
Most of my wood necks have a slight arch to them. My Rainsong is flat. Does carbon fiber necks bend or have an arch?

Your RainSong has a two way truss rod and you can set the forward relief as you see fit. My two RainSongs both have 12 fret necks and came factory set to a light forward relief.

Sounds to me like you are talking about the "radius" of the neck (the radius of a circle that would match the curve of the fretboard).
Most steel-string acoustic guitars have a radius of 12-16." Sometimes that changes down the neck, what's referred to as a "compound radius." Classical guitars are typically flat. Here is a page from Thalia capos showing the fretboard radii of a bunch of different guitars. RainSongs are flatter than most acoustic guitars, but not totally flat. They have a 20" radius, even though they use a saddle designed for Taylor's 16" radius. This can be a bit of a challenge with capos. One usually gets the best capo performance when the radius of the capo matches the fretboard. The Thalia capos I mentioned before have different inserts for different radii. Also the G7th Heritage Capo (my personal favorite) can adjust to any radius and string thicknesses.

wow, I have no idea what to do with at two way trust rod...I just knew righty tighty lefty loosey.... but do you mean that there is a trust rod adjustment at the head stock and through the sound hole?

Nope, I am talking about the arch of the neck from headstock to the joint to the body, but this information was very helpful for my frustrations with a Kyser I have. Just can not get it to sound good. Thank you for sharing.

Turn the bolt underneath the cover at the headstock counter clockwise until you achieve the relief that works for you. Looking at my CH-PA with 10s on it, the relief appears to be about half the thickness of the high-E string...maybe 5 mils. My CH-WS with 12s looks like it has a bit more relief, but my smallest feeler gauge, 10 mils, does not fit under the high-E string when fretted at the 1st and 12th frets.
