Default Martin OME Cherry (2018) - Sold!

Up for sale is a wonderful OME Cherry with a Sitka top. If it’s not mint, it’s as close as you can get. I don’t see any dings. In fact, the warranty card still hasn’t been opened. See specs and reviews online, but this is a 25.5 scale with a 1 and 3/4 nut. Action is comfortable with plenty of room on the saddle. The plastic bridge pins have been replaced with Tusq (originals included). Comes with the Martin molded case (grey) as well.

These guitars represent an incredible value. Cherry is a really great (and underrated from what I can tell) tone wood. I agree with the assessment that it lies somewhere between Mahogany and Rosewood tonally. The trebles are clear and punchy like a mahogany but the bass is deeper like a Rosewood. I think overall, it’s closer to Rosewood. I’m not sure that played next to an OM-28 that you’d get a significant difference. I love the gold tuners and the satin back and sides. Really makes for a cool looking guitar, and these come with a Fishman matrix preinstalled. It has the MLO neck which I think is fantastic. Comfortable and just right between too much or too little. Guitar is in Charleston SC. SOLD

Very nice indeed!

Yes, the cherry wood is underrated.Great tone, looks and it is also durable.

I wish Martin would use more of that sustainable wood in their line up.

Best luck with the sale!
