Yes, for sure, I do feel lucky not for the guitar as much as getting to know Ben and helping to design this. I knew the guitar would be great! You will definitely play this one as long as you can get in and out of the hazmat suit I am going to make everyone where first lol!!!

Well, I was trying to be polite and let everyone get their Woodstock vibes on, but now that we are done with that pesky little show, let us focus on the biggie i.e. B.I.G. which I can unequivically state will be BIGGER THAN WOODSTOCK in 2019 (of course the caveat being there will be no Woodstock in 2019, sorry I could not resist).

UPDATES:

1) Michael Watts is offering personal 1/2 hour sessions for which there are only a few left, please contact me soon if this is something you were counting on doing when you sign up. There are only so many hours in the day.

2) We have talked Bruce Sexauer into performing as well as displaying...ie. playing and displaying all in the same weekend!!!! So this brings our performers up to 4 (Paul Nichols and his wife Cindy, Ben and Brad aka frog and toad, Bruce, and of course Michael Watts).

3) We still have spots available for folks to come, still have hotel rooms open.

4) A lot of folks are finding B&B's in the area as well as Airbnbs as it is a resort area so there are options for your stay. It is a beautiful spot.

5) Kathy and I are constantly planning and coming up with ways to make the event better and fun for everyone including expanding on Sunday's experience.

6) Keep an eye on this thread for more info on the Watts workshop. This workshop will be for every level of player and is focused more on how you and your guitar can work better together as opposed to hey, here is a riff now you try it! More details to follow, but so far, this has been a very popular add on for people signing up.

7) I would still like to have more people come, so feel free to contact me.

Kathy and I want this to be a huge success and fun for all who attend and to that end will work hard to make it so.

I thought it may be weird for people to come to an event that they have no concept of where they are going. I thought I would show some pics of where we are planning to have the shows:

Here is the natural area where the concerts will occur.

Up the steps and into the trees. We are actually expanding the landscaping in this area to allow more seating. Like I said, we are working all the time to try and make this event successful.

And finally, this is what it looks like at night when the shows will be going on. A little bit magical in our eyes. I hope you think so as well.

Yes, all joking aside, those walls were all made from rocks harvested from the property and hand fit together by very skilled artisons! I can't believe how they can take all these various sized rocks and end up with something so uniform and level. We are getting more built around the concert venue as well for folks to sit on while listening to all the great music.

Jim makes it the second person coming from Wisconsin, the place of my birth. Jim also frequents the town my Dad grew up in and I visited 3-4 times a year growing up! That makes it quite special for me that you are coming Jim. My Uncle Jim lived on Fulton Street as did my Grandfather!

So for those keeping track, we have representation from England in Michael Watts. We have luthiers coming from California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Alabama! We have Gerry Humphrey coming from Minnesota. We have guests coming from NY, NJ, WI, CO, NV, CA, MO, MA, and TX. Let me know if I forgot anyone's states!

So exciting, we have a great group of folks signed up, but still have room. The only thing we are getting tight on would be private lessons with Michael, but still have a few spots open for that. Plenty of room for the event and the workshop left!
