Kevin Kopp K-35 # 5 -A Major Price Drop - Now On Hold
Here is my Kevin Kopp K-35 , # 5, a very early K-35 built in 2005, spruce/mahogany. This 15 year old guitar is in Exc. original condition, showing some pick marks on both sides of the strings below the sound hole and on and just off the pick guard, but not through the finish. A few other stray marks from 15 years of playing but that's it. The neck is straight, set up and action is exc. and frets are very clean. This one is a Long scale @ 25.4 " and is a strong guitar, plays easy. but has that extra power of a long scale. It is 1 & 23/32 " at nut and 2 & 3/16 " at saddle. There is an L R Baggs Anthem system installed and the guitar sounds great acoustic and electric. The pictures show the condition and great Kopp sunburst .A piece of Kopp history here that has aged beautifully and sounds terrific. With non original hard shell case, On Hold..

Beautiful! Are these Kopp guitars voiced like Gibsons? I’ve heard a few demos and can’t decide. Music villa called it an HD28 killer but in other videos I hear the thrum of Gibson.

Kevin built guitars for Gibson in Montana before going out on his own, His guitars are considered one of the best Gibson style guitars being built today, and they sure sound Gibson.

I'm not sure if this one was sold at Mandolin Bros. originally. I do know they were big fans of Kopp's K-35.

This one spent a short amount of time in our shop and was fantastic. Since his first batch of 4 instruments all had prototype labels, this might be the first official K-35 with a logo on the headstock. Rare sprayed sunburst, to boot!
