Great band
Saw Mandolin Orange last Wednesday in a small local venue. Great show! The lead 2 in the band traded off, one on fiddle and guitar and the other on mandolin and guitar, supported by sweet percussion, stand up bass, and some nice electric guitar work. Wonderful show and excellent song crafting. I had heard a few of their songs but now I'm a big fan and am exploring all their stuff. I even bought a shirt!

Their version of Boots of Spanish Leather made me a fan. They also have some killer Pre*War brand guitars.

One of my favorites. They put on a great show and never disappoint. They are actually playing in town here on Friday evening but I have to miss it; I'm hating it.

Also fan, Ive seen them 4-5 times now, originally just a duo and most recenttly as an expanded band at Red Rocks here in Colorado. Their sound has moved to a bit more country than their early work, I liked the stripped down folk sound a bit more, but still great tunes and playing. I don't miss them when they're around! BTW, I watched an interview and learned Andrew made the guitar he plays, sound great to me!
