The neck is not finished just yet. This shows a base coat of finish soon to be leveled and another round of coats to be applied after which more fine leveling and then some cure time and then buffing. It’s a slow process

Slow, perhaps, but well worth the wait! John usually times it so the neck is done about the time the body comes back from Tony, the Finish Wizard...

"Ok guys. Here is what is slowing me down. Hand made Christmas presents. This will be a clock for my wife with wooden gears. Home made zircote plywood and spalted maple veneers over the Baltic ply frame."
