Thanks, I was so busy with a builder who came from France to study with me for February that I didn’t even really notice I’d gotten this far in the build. Good thing it worked out!

Thanks! After two years exhibiting at La Conner I decided not go this year. Then, after the show filled up I began to regret my decision so I asked to be put on the wait list. Fingers crossed! If I end up going I’ll be bringing this guitar, it’ll be at the Vancouver show for sure.

Beautifully simplistic/minimalist design. I like the lines of your design.

Closer day by day. I should send this one off to get glossy next week.

Started a few other guitars this week, and I was pruning in the orchard so there hasn’t been much progress on this one. I did manage to make a bridge and get the fingerboard mostly prepped.

Interesting jig. Is that for helping with neck angle or just for bridge placement?

Hello! I just use it for locating the bridge.

I rely so heavily on the sunshine in my shop for good photos and today it wasn’t out. Either way, the body is sanded and off for gloss. The neck will stay with me for a satin finish.

Looking absolutely great. After playing the number 3 that is currently for sale here in our classifieds (and local), I just can't imagine that one of your guitars can be for sale for any length of time or what the expected differences are between #3's and #4's. Maybe an east coast show where we can try out a small variety one day.
Jeff

Thanks Jeff! No east coast shows this year for me, maybe next year. Perhaps you’ll get a chance to play the No.04 I’m building for your friend, it’s a shame he’s got to sell his No.03, I’d have loved to hear your opinion on the differences between the two.
