Nothing compares to being there. You can’t duplicate the warmth of the people, the feel of the rooms and the quality of the time you get to spend with builders, their instruments and the members of this community. Tom and Kathy open thei home and hearts, making this so much more than a guitar show. Thanks to them, the luthiers (so gracious) and everyone who attended for making this such a memorable event!

Dennis, the pics are killer!

Thanks again, Dennis, for having the presence of mind to take all those wonderful pictures! You've made it possible for all of us to feel like we're part of the merrymaking, although we may be thousands of miles away.

Tom and Kathy, your home is such a beautiful venue. How gracious of you to open it up for all to enjoy!

And, man, LOOK AT ALL THOSE GUITARS!!!!

Second this. Great for those of us who aren't there, to be a little bit in on the action.

Just a quick and heartfelt thank you to all who attended and made BIG 3 truly the best one yet. I am still running on fumes and will post more later, but thank you and thank you again. I made so many great friends and connected with some people that you have that instant karma with and I know we will be connecting again in the future and feel like life long pals.

The AGF is filled with wonderful, kind, fun, folks. To a fault, I think luthiers are wonderful human beings as well. I have some great videos that I want to post, but I need some more sleep before I can get that done.

Best BIG yet and hopefully we can figure out how to make it even better. Those who were there know who I am working on for next year's show already LOLOLOLOL....poor Scott!

Day 3

When day 3 comes around it is mixed emotions for me. Love the day as it is always connection with good friends, a wonderful spread for brunch and generally a little more of a relaxed atmosphere. And then there is the reality that the event is closing in on wrapping up.

This is the final set of photos and then, if my dropbox cooperates, I'll post a couple iPhone videos to give you a taste of the music we enjoyed.

Sam and Mike (mikealpine) play on the deck for Eileen

Boycette and Jim (Jlhunt)

Craig, Dennis (cigarfan) and Rich (canehorn)

Dennis and Steve (gonna miss this guy!)

Lots of time for collaboration

Couple shots of the flora onsite

And then there is the breakdown and packup

Joel getting in his last licks

Dash hates to see everyone packup

Brad Jones (Toad) and his new found son (Gage Halland)

Some of my favorite people on the planet

An obvious big thanks to Tom, the luthiers, performers, and the good people. This time around was more about people than guitars. Had a lot of fun.

There are no pics or videos that can match the feeling of attending a Bowersox International Guitar Palapalooza event. For me, the anticipation of the next begins as soon as I leave the driveway from the previous and somehow each time the experience is better than the last. If you have not attended a B.I.G. I feel for you. You better get this event on your annual calendar. It is bucket list worthy.

To Tom and Kathy ... another phenomenal B.I.G. You, and all those who contributed, a B.I.G. THANK YOU so much!! You've outdone yourselves once again!

To all the old friends and new, sure enjoyed your comradery over the past few days. I wish everyone a healthy and successful coming year and see you next time around.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I was thinking about next year's event while driving. Truly a wonderful event put on by amazing hosts.
