Default Yamaha F140

Picked up a red label Japan yammi, New strings tonight and I’m thoroughly impressed!
Came dusty and neglected, after some truss rod wrestling and saddle finesse she sounds like a guitar that could’ve cost ten fold the price. Never mind she is the ugliest one I’ve owned, but I hear that’s how it goes sometimes.
If you get a chance, try one.

I don't know what it is about those old Yamahas, but there has to be some magic involved. All laminate guitars just aren't supposed to sound that good.

The Red Label Yamahas weren't solid-top?
