Parlor Guitar Nut

Looking for suggestions. I just bought a 1937 Slingerland Maybell College Pal parlor guitar and need to replace the nut. I'd prefer buying a slotted nut, since I don't have nut files or experience in cutting slots. Please let me know where I might be able to buy a bone nut. Thanks!
Neck: 1 7/8"
E to E spacing: 1.5"
Nut slot: 1/4" wide

You might try vintagebluesguitar.com and ask if they can make one for you. They are at least familiar with the instrument.

I have vintage parlors and have found that the parts are hard to come buy so I bought broken guitars on ebay and stripped them for parts. Tuners are easier to come by there should you need them.

Stewmac sells slotted nuts, but I don't see an that will match your specs. http://www.stewmac.com/Materials_and..._Bone_Nut.html

With that age guitar, finding a match is going to be tough. A cheap set of needle files and a bone blank might be the best you can do without taking it to a luthier.

Even if it's preslotted it's going to require additional work to fit it properly. Isn't there a local repairman you can take it to?

Is the current nut missing or broken? Or just slots too deep? If so, you could always shim up the nut.
