Default Kenneth Hill Signature Spruce/Cedar Doubletop Classical Guitar VIDEO ADDED

Price: $6000 + $100 shipping. I'll upgrade to overnight UPS.
VIDEO DEMO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xi04yV0vE-I

Up for sale is a well-loved, but spectacular Kenny Hill signature model (his highest model) from the year 2012.

This is a spruce/cedar doubletop. 650mm scale, and a 51mm nut (a little less wide neck than usual, which is nice - I didn’t notice till I measured, but it sure is comfortable to play). It also features a raised fingerboard, and soundports!

This guitar quite obviously has been played, but when you hear it and play it, you’ll understand why. It’s colorful, dynamic, and has sustain that’s out of this world. One thing that surprises me is that I have no urge to put any carbon strings on it. All nylon sounds fantastic- even the 3rd string has brightness and clarity that separates chords beautifully. It’s got a deep, low bass, and singing trebles, and tons of volume.

Keep in mind, these instruments are $9000+ new. Here’s an opportunity to grab one of, if not the best Kenny Hill guitars I’ve played at a fraction of the cost of a new one. I certainly have never played a better instrument for this price. On youtube I have a couple of videos with Kenny Hill guitars. Soon I will make one with this guitar, and if you'd like to be first to hear it, please send me a message!

I have clearly photographed all of the imperfections, but to describe them - there are lots of nail marks on the top, and wear to the French polish on the back, resulting in some haze in the finish, which is very normal. These could be all polished out if you had the French polish refreshed.

The back of the neck also shows some play wear - again, this could be gently sanded and re-polished if that bothers you enough. Keep in mind, with the photos I took of the wear, I tried to make it look as obvious as possible. This is not something you notice when you pick up this gorgeous guitar.

It comes in a very protective Hiscox case, and I will upgrade to overnight mail for the sake of safety for the instrument. Will make a demo video soon!

Beautiful guitar. I’ve never seen a port on the treble side like that. Being from the steel string world, is this common on classicals?

Good luck with the sell.

Thanks! And yes, it's fairly common nowadays, It's usually either two smaller port, or one larger port on the bass side. I quite like them!
