Default REDUCED AGAIN! Bamburg Small Jumbo Macassar/Carpathian!

Lovely Bamburg Macassar Ebony B&S, Carpathian Spruce Top with Cantilevered Fingerboard. See reduced price below!

REDUCED Again to $3,500! Last chance to own a fantastic instrument for a ridiculous price!

This Small Jumbo is in the top few best acoustic guitars I have ever had the pleasure to play! Beautiful overtones but not overpowering. Every note still rings clear and distinct. The cantilevered neck makes it super easy to play--easier than my normal scale guitars despite the slightly longer scale.

Note that this guitar has been played and gigged. It has the normal finish pitting and scratches of a guitar that is 11 years old and has been previously played with a pick (previous owner). Some buckle rash that I tried to capture on the back. A couple of scratches on the neck around the 12th fret (see pics). Nevertheless, it is in excellent playing condition. I have done my best to document any imperfections in my photos. Feel free to ask questions.

An LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup is installed and sounds great with this guitar. The original Ameritage case is included.

Bump for a very nice Bamburg small jumbo. I believe this wood combo is one of Jeff's favorites and he's made quite a few in Carpathian/Macassar.....my FSC being one from '14.
Best of luck with the sale!

Thumbs up IslandGuitar Beautiful Music

I guess I'm hijacking my own thread but I have to say that Island Guitar's music is absolutely beautiful!

Please check out his SoundCloud link in this thread. You won't be disappointed!

As an afterthought, you should buy this Bamburg so you can play like IslandGuitar.

+1 on that, Super! Fred (Island Guitar) does a great job; indeed a service to us all! He bought a guitar from me a couple years back, so in that way, I feel I've contributed to his tunes! I refer to his music as "attitude adjustment" music!

I used to own this one. Always been tempted to try and get it back. If Jeff wasn't building me a new one right now, I'd be all over it!

Smile Lotta axe for the moolah!

Wow, what a smoking deal. I recently received a JSB and it is a FINE INSTRUMENT INDEED.

Jeff does all the good stuff! The elevated fretboard extension allows the entire top to vibrate. Gotoh 510s, Jescar hard gold color frets. And a Lot of time spent on each guitar! The CF in the neck is a great help in driving more string energy to the top. Etc, etc.

Mr Bamburg told me his default neck shape is based on an older Breedlove he loved. I found that very cool.

Jbam is flying a bit under the Luthier Radar but very highly regarded by those who have actually played his beauties! And he is an AGF SPONSOR.

Someone will be STOKED

And, plus one on IslandGuitar's beautiful music! Nice stuff Fred

Best on this

Paul

Default Thanks, Paul!

Paul,

I couldn't agree more. Jeff B. is one magnificent luthier that is somehow a little below the radar--but he shouldn't be.

His builds are absolutely top notch in every respect. The neck on this beauty is by far my favorite ever. Period.

I also find that the easy playable of this guitar defies logic. The scale is 25.7" but it plays easier than all of my 25.5"/25.4" scale guitars.

Thoughts anyone?

Thank you so much, Paul!
I switched back from another tune in my sig to my Bamburg FSC which was played in my tune "Lavender Bloom" so it would match up with the reference in this post. These are excellent guitars.......Jeff does great work!!

Smile Thoughts on scale length

"I also find that the easy playable of this guitar defies logic. The scale is 25.7" but it plays easier than all of my 25.5"/25.4" scale guitars."

For me, the neck shape is as important as the scale length for overall left hand comfort. Of course the big stretch "yoga chords" will still be a bit more difficult, but that stands to reason!

I am surprised this is still here.

Best on the sale and have FUN

Paul
