Default Martin reimagined 2018 000-28

Bought the amber tone from Elderly a couple months ago. What a cannon!

This is an amazing guitar and well worth the money. I play mediums on it. Anyone else try the new series?

I played one in a shop and it sounded every bit as good as the 000-28 Custom Shop I had. Actually, it was one reason I was so quick to offload my Custom Shop. The fact that Martin is making such great standard production geetars is reason enough to love the age we live in.

I struggled and we are not alone, in posting pics here. I registered at imgur, added images, copy where it says BBCode (messages and forums), then pick the thumbnail size you desire. Post reply on AGF and click on the AGF insert image tab. Copy the image. You can preview post to see how the size works and change if needed. Once you get it down, it's a snap. Look forward to a pic and congrats.

Since you are using the app

1. Press reply to thread
2. Click the camera icon about 3/4 of the way down the screen on the left (directly above the keyboard)
3. Allow access
4. Pick your photo and upload!

Ok I think that’s it. I do want to mention that I only say it’s worth the $ because for the first time, I was educated enough to know exactly what I wanted. I played probably 7 or 8 rosewood Martin guitars that day and this one felt the best. The neck shape is right for me too.

It was also over the budget a little I had prepared to spend [emoji13] (not by much though).

My Southern Jumbo, being mahogany, has a much warmer, middier (if that’s a word to describe tone) feel than this Martin. It’s hard to say which one sounds “better” though.

Nice Botofogo! I wonder how many they made in each finish this year?
