Lovely work, reminds me very much of Japanese Makie-e. I spent a summer studying makie-e in Japan two years ago and still haven't got good enough to put in on my work yet (I may need another lifetime before I am)

Perhaps the technique closest to what you've done is called "chinkin" The master of which these days is a chap called Mae Fumio. You might want to look him up.

Soooo good to hear, James! I think that's one of the best compliments is when someone says they're inspired by my work. And I am so glad I can provide inspiration because inspiration is such an amazing thing!!

Hi folks!
I'll be putting this guitar up for sale at the 12th fret in Toronto so if you have any interest in it that is where it will be headed in the next few weeks once things are all ironed-out and details are set.
