Default for those who shave, how often?

Hi guys,

Curious how often you shavers out there do it. I used to shave daily but I would break out in the nastiest incurable rashes so for the past 25 years I shave only once it starts getting itchy. Works out to about once a week+. Needless to say I look pretty scruffy usually but my wife likes it.

How about you?

Yeah, I like it too. You're just so manly with a little scruff.

I was expelled from my secondary school when I was 18 for growing a beard - it came on suddenly hot and heavy ... and ginger!
I had a beard for most of my working life and until 20178 when radio therapy deprived me of the hair follicles on the left side of my face.

Ever diminishing goatee now - and I wet shave my right side every other day, but my mOustache seems to have survived.

Since Covid, once a week at most. Even then I don't officially shave with a razor, just knock down the weeds with a trimmer.

I'm on a LOT of virtual meetings, everyone except the ladies look just like I do. Shaving is so 2019.

I have had a beard for 34 years, but now I am old and shave my head. I need to do it daily (skipping a few on weekends).

It sucks.

I shave every day just as I have for the past 50 years or so.

Average once about every 4-5 days. Grows really fast and relatively thick.

Too much gray these days, so it doesn't normally last longer than that!

I'm pretty lazy on this. Once or twice a week max & that's just dragging the hair clippers across, takes about 30 sec. Bit scruffy, will use a razor only if going out on a date or something a bit formal.

Every week day (try to look good for work). I usually miss a day or two on the week-end though.

About five or six times a week. If I do a workout and shower thereafter, I will shave too. Somedays are down days and I just don't do much personal maintenance. Don't worry though, I always clean up before going to any sort of jam session.

Every day, face and head, even when camping. Kind of compulsive, but I don't feel right if I don't.

Putting the past couple of years aside...every day when required (for work or other social events). Nowadays...well I think I've explained when already.

Mostly every day. I may skip a coup of days every now then. I generally don't like how it feels to not shave. A clean shave feels so good. I tried to grow a beard once or twice but could never get beyond the itchy and scratchy phase.

Every working day. On weekends, too, if I'm doing something where I need to look presentable. Force of habit, I guess. I once let it go almost 2 weeks on vacation and it ain't pretty!

After the last restaurant, back in 2013, every other day is shave day now. It works out pretty well because over a two week cycle all the days alternate.
