Just enjoying life and retirement.
Been sticking with US travel for a while since international travel is such a mess.
Maybe someday I will get back out there.....

Another place that feels/looks like another planet, is Craters of the Moon in Eastern Idaho . Not as much vertical change as the Canyon Lands (because it is basically a Lava flow) but other worldly

25 years ago we visited Lake Moraine, and hiked 2 days to Mount Robson.

Sunrise in the Bighorns. A local told us to look among the willows at first light. Probably got too close, but what a cool thing to see.

Yes indeed big funa up close is very cool

Young Bull like that , probably not an issue (but ya never know). A cow with calf that would be too close any time ... Big Bull in the rut could be problematic also.

Yup, a calf present or a huge Bull would have kept me 100 yards away!
