To help fund a studio project, I'm reluctantly selling my (virtually brand new) Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe. It was made in 2021 and received by me in November. It's in "like new" condition, and still has that new Martin smell too! Upgrades includes an LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed by Sweetwater and a strap button put on by a local Martin-authorized luthier. AGF price is $3300 plus shipping and PP fees.

The Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe features a solid Sitka spruce top and Adirondack spruce bracing, both with VTS. East Indian rosewood back and sides are going to produce a tone rich in lows and highs with a scoop in the mids, making it a perfect choice for singer-songwriters. The genuine mahogany neck, featuring a dovetail neck joint and natural protein glue construction, helps to give the D-28 that rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations.

New Age Features
The D-28 Modern Deluxe is loaded with new age features that improve its playability. The truss rod, made from titanium, is 64% lighter than a standard truss rod and very easy to adjust. Liquidmetal red dot bridge pins combined with a carbon fiber bridge plate increase volume by several decibels without adding weight. All Modern Deluxe guitars feature an ultra-low-profile, asymmetrical neck shape for maximum hand comfort and playability.
