Default My wife bought a bass.

That's it, my wife bought an electric Ibanez bass guitar. I guess she is going to play bass with me. Sounds like fun.

My husband got into bass guitar quite a few years ago, after buying a Fender American Standard. It is fun!

My 12 year old daughter has taken a rest from piano and has started learning bass. Pretty cool!

Well, good for your wife, RL! She wants to be part of your music experience! Good for the both of you! That's wonderful!

The thing about it is that there was not a lot of talk about it. That is okay with me, we don't usually have to have long protracted discussions about our purchases before we buy stuff. She did say something about playing the bass one day, but just in passing. She's never shown any interest in guitars in any form. It just surprised me when it showed up on the doorstep.

"What's in this big box? Did you buy a guitar from Sweetwater?"

"Yeah, it's a bass guitar. Don't open it, it's mine."

"Okay, that's cool. Can I have some of the candy?"

"No, just leave it alone."
