I recently bought a Journey OF660 in mat black during their Black Friday sale. I bought it as a travel guitar and took it up to a friends cottage for New Years. It certainly travels well and sounds good for what it is, I’m happy

3 original CA Guitars Cargos
4 McPhersons (2 Sable, 2 Touring, all with gold package and Honeycomb)

Edit: S/he who dies with the most McPhersons (or Emeralds...), wins!

I've got an Emerald X-20. I'm more of a wood guitar guy, but it sire is nice to have one that I don't have to worry about in the elements.

Another vote for the Journey OFF 660. I have about 20 wood instruments (guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles), but the Journey lets me travel (when that can be done easily again) and not worry. Just did a couple of weeks in Hawaii and was very happy with it, again; took an inexpensive uke as well. It's not as beautiful as the wood, in sound and appearance, but it's close enough - and it takes all the tunings I want to throw at it. I also like the wide neck on it.

I just counted my composite instruments and I have way too many. They are from Blackbird, Emerald, RainSong and McPherson.

Emerald is doing very well in promoting CF guitars. They are the company who provide most customized options including fan fret and their intonation adjustable bridge. Also, all the bevels in their X-?? series become their signature too. They are worth to be well-known!

Although I didn't expect to see my guitar in the poll choices, the irony is that they were one of the pioneers in using carbon fiber for guitar tops and for years may have been the only option available.

Anyway, I have 5 Adamas models.

I don't what % it amounts to, but we AGF Emerald owners do a pretty decent job promoting them as well...

No surprise that Emerald leads the pack since they are the most discussed in this sub-forum. McPherson seems farther behind than I had realized. Of course, there may be many owners of various CF guitars that are not responding to this poll, so we don't know how accurate the true ownership numbers are.

CF guitars generally seem to be of high quality, so whatever people have, has got to be great.
