Good things come in small packages this year - Introducing the all carbon fiber travel guitar, essentially a mini version of their popular GX with carved shaping on the back & an offset soundhole. Nothing small about Cargo's tone! Full midrange with good bass response to boot. Play it, you'll want one! Comes with matching gig bag, & small enough for easy airplane travel.
I've played this guitar and it's amazing. Great playability and sounds huge. Using an offset soundhole allowed for a different bracing pattern to enhance the sound of this guitar. It looks cool too. Stay tuned.... JR |

No pics?
I cannot find a picture of the new travel guitar anywhere. Does anyone know if it was shown at NAMM?

Bump...For having a new model for NAMM, pictures and announcements seem a bit slow in coming out......

I'm more disappointed in general ( not just with Composite Acoustics) on the difficulty in obtaining NAMM news for this show compared to the other half dozen or so I've tried to follow closely .Is there a better channel out there than Harmony-Central? CA is a sponsor on this forum and I would think would post something as soon as the doors opened at NAMM and the model was publically being shown. If not that at least a couple of days after the show ended...

Wow, I REALLY like the look of that. Looks "stealth" but hope it sounds anything but!

I like the matte finish as well, my electric guitar is gloss black and it shows every little smudge and fingerprint very visibly.

I emailed them a week ago asking for info (scale length, especially), and all I received by way of a reply was silence.

They're probably all still recovering from the cold/flu/yuck that comes complimentary with every NAMM exhibitor badge.

I love CA guitars but I just can't fiquire out why they have not come out with a twelve string by now. You come out with a travel guitar before you fill the void of not having a 12. I thing they have a 12 string phobia or something. Makes not sense to me.

i hope it cost lower than $1k. If it somewhere in the $500-600 mark, i'll pick one up. Been looking a for an affordable one that doesnt require so much maintenance.
