Default Two tunes for a memorial service

The first is Flowers of the Forest, played with a flatpick on 12 string (a slightly different version was posted earlier in the Play and Write section of AGF - I took that version off Soundcloud). The second is a familiar tune, finger-picked on 6 string in open G. These were not played as a medley, I'm just putting them into one track for convenience.

Nice pieces, Dave, well done! The first one sounds like a bagpipe tune to me, arranged for the guitar. I really like the sound of your 12 string and the delay works very well on it!

A bagpipe tune, indeed - often played at funerals and memorial services. I understand many pipers only play that tune in that context.

I thought of playing it on electric with chorus, reverb and delay, but better to carry less.

Both are very nice and appropriate for the occasion. I especially liked your arrangement of Joni‘s tune, it is contemplative and uplifting at the same time. Well done.
