What a great service you have just provided to us! Sirens in your neighborhood reminded me of trying to record recently for work. Due to chainsaws at work in my neighborhood I relocated to my office to record a lecture only to encounter seemingly constant 'backup beeping' of construction vehicles. I've become a big fan of 'good enough'!

Many times you can avoid editing the video and just edit the audio. If it's just a slip, or small mistake it won't be visible on video and you can just punch in the phrase afterwards.

That's a great solution. Actually, in spite of the difficulties, I do enjoy the challenge of capturing a complete performance in one unedited take without overdubbing. Glutton for punishment, I guess. Thanks for watching!
