Fixing a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ to pedalboard
I've had a Fishman Platinum Pro EQ pre-amp/DI Box (the later version) for a few years now, but never found a satisfactory way of fixing it to a pedal board, so looking for ideas and suggestions. I also own the earlier version (which doesn't have the boost or the tuner, but DOES run on phantom power - duh, why didn't they keep that feature? ).
Neither of them seem ideal for fixing to pedalboards, but I keep seeing them fixed to nano pedaltrain boards on YouTube so I assume someone has found a better way than I have. |

Velcro seems to work

I put velcro on the bottom of the pedal and used velcro spacers to make sure it attached to the board well.

I've not had any issues keeping the Platinum Pro EQ/Di on my Pedaltrain Nano board using nothing more than small velcro strips at all 4 corners of the unit. It's a newer model than yours, dunno if that makes a difference but with this one simple velcro with adhesive backing has been working fine.

Take away the boost, compressor, and the tuner and you pretty much have the Platinum Stage, which does run on phantom power. |

I use a Holeyboard with zip ties or an Aclam S1 board with their slide lock system. No problems.
