I am the opposite. I like the buildup of anticipation and excitement. I don't want to see anything about the guitar if I can help it - when it is done it is done. I figure that when the guitar is done, I will have tons of time to spend with it through recording sessions and gigs so I won't hamper the artisan at work and I prefer to let him do his "thang."

The Olivewood guitar just got sold. So I will replace it with the Brazilian Zion to complete the trip. It may be a few more weeks before it makes it to Florida.

James Olson really goes for it when it comes to building a lot of guitars at the same time it looks like

Normally I don't think that to be a good thing, but I have never played an Olson, I know James taylor likes 'em.
