Default NBD - Nechville Atlantis

I have been thinking of an open back banjo for a while now and finally jumped and picked up a Nechville Atlantis, setup for low D tuning.

Plays really smooth and sounds great with bare fingers (I am "trying" to figure out the clawhammer style). Heavier gauger gauge strings play easier than standard banjo stings for me.

Congrats! I'm not familiar with their open back banjos, but I do have one of their resonator banjos. It came with a prototype electric insert that replaces the banjo head with a walnut plate having two pickups and a fixed bridge. Mine also has a sliding capo for the 5th string.
