Default Spire studio plus Zoom H4n pro

Is it possible to use the Zoom H4n as an external microphone with the Izotope Spire Studio?

I own both, but haven' tried that. I have used the H4n Pro as an audio interface for a DAW, so I would assume it is possible. I prefer the built-in condenser mic on the Spire over the X/Y mics on the H4n Pro.

The problem seems to be that the Spire doesn't have a USB input. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion as to adapters or workarounds.
Maybe some sort of USB/XLR interface?
It may not be easily done.

Headphone out on the H4nPro with a 1/4" adapter into the Spire might work, but I wonder how the quality might suffer?
