I love Norah, every song Ive ever heard her do, so much so that I even bought a NEW cd which usually are used. Some of you may know that I extremely dont like most women singers, they make me cringe like nails on a chalk board. But there are some of my favorite singers also like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkBziLvefsw. go ahead, click on it and be surprised.
Ill be watching this thread to see what others have to say about Norah. Has she had a baby? She looks a little more healthy than when I first saw her on Austin City Limits

Barbara's voice...ahhh...just magic.

I, too, love Norah.

This is really great. Thanks for sharing. She's one of those artists who are maybe known for one or two hits by most people, but have actually continued to put out quality work for decades but for a smaller more attentive audience. She, Fiona Apple, and even The Cardigans typically get a "whatever happened to those guys?" or "they have a new album?" reaction, but have actually released their masterpieces in their later years. I'm always happy to see people appreciating them, especially Jones.

I'm sure everyone's heard her "Black Hole Sun" cover, but I just wanna say I loved her version with all those Major 7ths. It really gave the song new life.

Been a long long time since I heard this one. Putting aside that it’s a great song and Barbara has the voice of an angel there are so many other things I never cued in on. The strings (which of curse were the real deal back then) are sublime. And I love the wha-wha guitar. Never noticed that before

since were rolling that way heres my second favorite female singer. What makes it great is that this is my song for my wife and it includes my favorite 12 string song, a triple threat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZf41UudAbI
