No affiliation with seller... I've picked up a couple Halcyons over the past few months and have been extremely impressed. There is no better value among small custom builders. This guitar should be sold, somebody's gonna be very happy.

Default Sound Clip Added

Below is the link to a sound clip of this guitar. The recording is just the guitar....no EQ, no effects, etc. The first 1:41 of the recording was made with finger tips only (no nails). From 1:42 to 2:45 a pick is used. The last 15 seconds is finger tips only again.

Default Thought It Was Sold - Still Available

Buyer had to back out due to (we've all been there) spousal pressure.

Surprisingly to me, it's still available.

Default Great Guitar Still Available

Coming back from Page 6 for greater exposure. This is a lot of guitar.....especially for the money. Dollar-for-dollar I'd put Halcyon guitars up against anything. And this one has multiple upgrades.

I'd delete this thread and post a fresh listing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the op but potential buyers might think...hmm, if it hasn't sold by now maybe there's something wrong with it.

Now...
I don't know this particular Halcyon or the seller but I own a Halcyon OOO too. Mine also has Honduran hog B&S and 25" scale length with ebony and a Spruce top.

Mine is standard thickness and the top is Lutz spruce but the board&bridge are ebony too.

This Halcyon OOO should have sold on day ONE!

It's less than 1/2 price.

You know who should buy it? A recording studio.
I bet it records like gold.

If I didn't already have a Halcyon OOO...and a Halcyon AJ with Adi top....and a Lutz over walnut Halcyon SJ being built right now...I'd JUMP on this one.

Man this is the deal of 2019 for sure. So far anyway.

Good luck with the sale.

CONGRATULATIONS to the buyer. You just snagged the best acoustic $5500 will get you!!

Default Thank You, "blaren".......Back To The Top

First, thank you "blaren" for the very positive comments. As the highly biased seller, of course, I agree with you. I remain extremely surprised that this gem hasn't sold.

It's a very versatile guitar with outstanding tone and playability. And it's priced very favorably IMHO. Finally, it's in almost-new shape.

With minimal financial risk, you can take it for a 48-hour test drive. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Finally, if you are interested at all, you should listen (under headphones) to the soundclip.
