Default Friedman Buffer Bay 6

Greetings everyone! I recently purchased the Friedman 1520 pedal board with the Buffer Bay 6 and power grid. I've been able to set up everything just fine, however, I have never used a buffer and I have no idea how I'm supposed to run the cables through it and to the amp. I realize there is a buffer in and buffer out but beyond that, I'm not sure. Does anyone on here have experience with this product and if so, care to share any suggestions?

Thanks!

John
