Default Yamaha Red Label FGX5
anyone know the weight of this guitar? i own one and its heavier than all my other guitars. just curious as the specs state everything but the weight.

Mine feels relatively light compared to my laminate b/s Yamahas. If I had a scale accurate enough to weight it I would.

My D-18 weighs 4.06 lbs., but has no electronics, like your FGX5.

It does have some "heft" to it. Maybe the electronics? Don't know?

Not sure. Seldom weigh my guitars. Do you like this guitar so far? Too heavy for comfort? The electronics must be heavy then. I like my FS5 very much.
