Default Recording King RDM-9M satin finish

Recording King RDM-9M: The solid spruce top on this guitar has a super-thin satin finish, so thin that it looks and feels like unfinished wood. (There was even a thin layer of sawdust on it when I unboxed it!) It’s really a beautiful, well-made guitar for the money, but the matte finish attracts dirt like a magnet. What is the best way to care for this kind of finish? And what is the best way to clean it when the guitar gets smudged and the dirt sinks down into the raw grain? A luthier suggested using naptha (i.e. lighter fluid); is this a good recommendation?
