2011 Lakewood J-32 Baritone 1 7/8 nut 2 3/8 saddle 26.8 scale SOLD - SOLD
Lakewood is SOLD
One of the most musical instruments I've ever owned. Sounds like I've wanted every dread I've owned to sound Great shape except for a little fingernail rash under the strings, and a few small marks near the rosette (which I will get pics of later) No fret wear to speak of - lots of saddle left. Current action slightly over 5/64 bass and 4/64 treble. Bearclaw Euro spruce top, EIR back and sides. I've put my heart and soul into getting this as good as it can be - including some fine compensation at the saddle to dial in the intonation. I pulled the Shadow electronics, but the Nanomag element is embedded into the neck under the top, so I coiled up the lead (complete with it's 1/8 jack) and secured it under the top so it could be used again easily. I have it set up right now with medium gauge D'addarios and tuned to a half step down. Can easily go to D in this setup, and if you use heavy gauge (59-14) it can go to C# and C just fine. Will ship polished up, fingerboard and bridge cleaned and conditioned, frets polished and a fresh set of D'addario EJ17's installed. Dimensions: Length of box 20 5/8 Lower bout 17" Waist 9 5/8 Upper bout 11 7/8 Depth 3 7/8 - 4 7/8 Comes with the original Hiscox case in 9/10 condition. SOLD and actual shipping on my Fedex account to the CONUS ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS and NO TRADES Here it is in action - this is actually capo'd up one fret (so E to e) to fit my voice on this one a little better)

If I could free up cash and sell my Lance McCollum GA, this would be on its way to Asheville! Lakewood fit and finish is superb....more modern and dry like a David Webber. I’ve owned 15 or so and my favorites are the J32 body. I had a J32 and a J32 12 String... Big and boomy but clear with surprising note separation...not muddy at all. Buy with confidence from one of the best guys on the Forum!! Should be gone in 5,4,3,2...

Fitness is a fine FINE AGF seller, for sure! And this axe is sure cute!!!
Best on this and hope you do not miss it too much. And, most importantly, all the best with your Mom and her situation. Paul

Thanks guys - this is/was a very tough decision. It sounds so much different than my other instruments and brings a new ease to some of the female vocal tunes I do.
As most of you know, I've become a bit of a minimalist, so I'm having a hard time justifying keeping much of anything anymore that I don't really need. Not going to get to additional pics today, so maybe tomorrow.

Just loaded some more pics - sorry the light isn't good today!
I'd like to ship this soon for two reasons - so I can't change my mind, and to beat the cold weather coming So, I've dropped the price a bit - not going any lower though - it's a giveaway.

Going to bring this back up again - didn't want to ship during the rush, but after the 1st would probably be fine. I'll double box it in a standard Taylor box and then the Uline 50-20-10 box with lots of stuffing!

Thanks my friend - it really is a wonderful instrument. I'm just in heavy download mode with everything right now.

Mmmm… looks awful tasty. My M-22 is superb. If I wasn't also in sell mode, this one would surely be one I'd be seriously considering. GLWTS!!!

May be the last bump for a while - a window of warmer weather is likely to close and keep me from shipping soon.
