Hi, thanks for checking out this awesome McIlroy AD30! The price is [B]$1900 plus $65 shipping. I purchased two guitars last week knowing one would be sold. This is that one. It was made in 2005 by Dermot McIlroy, ex-production manager for Lowden Guitars. Dermot struck out on his own and has crafted an amazing name for himself. His guitars are in demand worldwide and have that Irish woody tone that acoustic players demand. It also has a pickup, which was not known to me when I purchased it. I do not know what it is and it has not been plugged in to see if it works. I do not have an amp. The reason I bought two guitars is that it is a challenge buying a guitar online. So, I knew one would stay and one would leave. No other reason. The guitar is in excellent condition and has been played. The top is a very high quality Sitka Spruce exhibiting a wonderful cross-graining. The back and sides are of East Indian Rosewood. There is no damage, no issues, except one ding in the upper left bout. I have shown it in two pictures. The neck is a very comfortable shape like a Taylor/Martin with a 1 3/4 inch bone nut. This beautiful guitar has a hand finished warm glow instead of a plasticy finish. I bought two guitars in order to decide which one to keep and this is the one I am not keeping.h like lesser instruments. Awesome! If this were walnut I’d be all over it! Just not a rosewood guy. Nonetheless, this is a very fair price. McIlroy’s are among the best.
