Great guitar.

I am sure Joel is glad that he can occasionally build something straight forward between Hen's multi-bevel-semi-backstrip creations

I think Michael's got a pretty fancy build going as it is! Just look at that coco grain patterns, and the visual action on the fretboard..wow!

That is going to look amazing once completed.. ugh.. can't wait for the day I can splurge on a custom Pardon my ignorance, but I'm sorta a noob when it comes to tone woods.. What sort of sound is Cocobolo known for?

Default Eye candy...

Thanks for your kind replies, Gentlemen!

Markart, to my ears cocobolo is very close to rosewood (it actually is a rosewood), with maybe less bottom end, but with more "color" - that would imply more robust midrange, more harmonics, and more sonic space between notes. Hope this makes some sense.
