Smile A Very Merry Christmas to all...

Now that that astounding bacon flavored 12 string is off and away, John says he can buckle down on MY new build. Of course I slowed it down by asking for a different rosette, and thus requiring a new top, but John has a fab replacement enroute...

Thanks John!!!

HO HO HO

Cheers and all the best in the new year, too!

Paul

Ok, well let's not keep us all in suspense...what is the new top (cedar??) and how have you decided to appoint it?? Ad I recall, maybe I remember something from another post about a celtic knot? Refresh my memory...Thanks!

New Top is cedar. I bought it from a dealer said that this particular top had astounding tap tone. That caught my fancy. The rosette will be a celtic knot in paua from Andy DePaule. Just waiting on the top now. It's disconscerting how difficult it has become to find WRC tops. Most of the usual sources were sold out. I wonder what's going on.

Smile Celtic knot

Hey Mike! Hope your Christmas was swell!

Check Johns Padouk build for Steve to see the rosette that knocked me out. Then subtract the outer rings so it is a bit less bling...

Since we are going for super light weight we decided on the killer Cedar. I am sorry but getting pics up here is a bear from my iPad

Cheers and a happy New Year to all!

Paul

Smile Maybe this will work...

Steve's Rosette... mine will be minus outer rings

I should mention it really looks much better in your hands!
