I admittedly requested this, just for a keepsake!

When my Doerr arrived I had called the post office to check on things and because we're a small town, I talked directly with Paul in the mail room who I knew quite well. He actually put it in his personal car and drove over to deliver it himself as I took pics of him walking up our front steps! We talk about that even today.
Hope she arrives in great shape......we'll see you back here asap with those new recordings.

Yep, looks like Monday-wednesday it should be here! Big brown truck with me at the window all day like some old dog!

Congratulations, Dustin!
Now there is a brilliant guitar, going to a brilliant player. The guitar is the very picture of elegance. The multiscale architecture will be excellent for your open tuning compositions, and given Marc's masterful handling of those superlative tonewoods, you can expect beautiful, full-spectrum sound to burst forth with the lightest touch. No doubt this instrument will be a joy to play, and will inspire a lot of new music to emerge.
Awesome guitar, and an equally awesome new guitar owner!

Hey man, I hope you're well and stayin' busy. I can't wait to get to know this guitar and share how she sounds after settling in. Be safe, my friend.

Looks fantastic, Dustin. But looks like Marc may have rushed a wee bit when he put on the bridge. It's crooked. ;-)

Are any of your other guitars fan-fret? My Wilborn Arum will be my first fan-fret.

I'm eagerly awaiting your debut of this gem. Every time I play my Beneteau, I am thankful for discovering him via you.

Eddie

Congratulations, this guitar looks so wonderful. I love Marc's work and the voice of his guitars. I owned a Standard Concert some years ago, bought it used but had to let it go because I couldn't get used to the narrow neck it had (1 3/8"). Still miss the unique tone! Have fun with it.

This will be my first personal fanfret. I've played and demo'd a few for Cedar Rock Guitar Gallery and found they were really transparent as long as the spread wasn't more than 1.25" (such as Lowden and a Mullin baritone I played) This is just a 0.76" spread so very easy to adjust to.

He's probably relieved it's finished! lol I sure put him through the ringer with the new rosette request and the floating backstop which is also a newer feature he offers.

Same thing for me...my first CS had a 1.75" nut and 2.25" bridge spacing which doesn't bother most but for me I will stumble alot more and prefer my hand to feel more "open" and relaxed with the 1.78" nut and 2.31" bridge.
