Default A cheap way to practice quietly

Take a sports headband and tuck it under your strings.... It still gives a bit of sound but it's ponticello...

Default

the headband looks pretty good but maybe a little wide. i used to put foam under the strings when i lived in an apartment long ago, and a neighbor complained to me. the home made foam mute didn't work so well.

i bought one of these recently but i've never used it.
