Thanks John, but I can't really take any credit for the photograghy as a friend took these shots. Her forte is not product photograghy and I did pass on some of the techniques that I learned in your class last summer to her, but she is really doing most of this on her own. I am very grateful for her help.

Beautifully done! Awesome thread. Thanks for taking the time. Very interesting and insightful. Now that I see some of the intricacies of the process I'm all the more amazed at what you do. The fans on the sidelines are giving you a standing "O" :-)

The Koa logo inlay against that dark wood (Ebony or African Blackwood?) looks incredible -- beautiful work!!!

This is a great guitar. I've never been a big fan of cedar-topped guitars, but recently I've started to change my mind, especially in combination with ziricote. The Osthoff mahogany/spruce OM I tried was also excellent. Impressive stuff

That's a beauty John. Is that logo done in Yellow heart? That's what I have used in the last couple of guitars that I have shipped overseas, including one for Trevor.

I suppose this guitar is nice if you are into absolutely gorgeous wood, top notch craftsmanship and flawless finishes.
Lucky for me I am onto all three of those things! Stunning. Just stunning. I like everything about it except for one thing, it is not mine!

Very nice Trevor, I like Terry's playing, especially the song done on this guitar. You have showcased it well!

I can vouch for the quality of this guitar. If it had a 1 11/16" nut width I'd pronably have bought it by now.

Terry is a really great player. I had the privilege of seeing him play a whole range of guitars in Trevor's shop a while ago. He really knows how to work with an instrument to bring out the best in it.

I've been watching the TAMCO videos, Terry Lees is a awesome player well I say that as he seems to play the things which I like (eg ragtime, Davey Graham, Fahey)!

The Brondel C3 video I think has been wrongly titled, I'm pretty sure he's playing Candyman...

The Osthoff Cedar/Ziricote OM sounds wonderful, deep, fat chocolatey tone, difficult to describe but the sound of it's bass response is fat without being too thuddy (if that makes sense). Off the videos on the TAMCO page, it has one of the nicest tones (looks great too)

(Also to Trevor you mention you favourite ever cedar topped guitar had ziricote back and sides, could I request what that guitar might be? If it's not relevant to this thread could you PM it....)
